Welcome to The Lake at Cromhall Quarry. The clearest lake in the South-West, our stunning limestone-filtered water is one of the main reasons our swimmers and divers enjoy our site so much. We offer open-water swimming, diving and paddle-boarding with qualified coaches and instructors available to help beginners get started and build confidence.

As a Maritime Training Academy, our staff are all qualified to the highest standard and all sessions are fully life-guarded. We also have a shop on-site selling hot drinks, cake and snacks and a range of swimming kit.

For divers, we have a range of affiliated clubs and schools to help you, or more experienced divers can explore with a buddy. We also offer cylinder filling and testing. Paddle-boarding is another way to enjoy our water and we have sessions which are both self-launch and instructor-led. Both paddle boards and wetsuits are available to hire.

Our site is inclusive and open to everyone, with no membership to pay. All our sessions are bookable online and PAYG, however we encourage you to book to avoid disappointment!
